Getting Started with Blueprint

Blueprint is a free Roblox building sandbox by Riley (rillcore / Rillcore Studios). This wiki brands the project as Blueprint Company for clarity. The pitch is simple and strict: no money system, no gamepasses, and a plot large enough for cities — 1024×1024 studs. You do not spawn into a shared neighborhood with pre-placed roads. You create a plot from a hub, then enter a private plot server that is yours to fill.

As of November 2026, Blueprint is in private testing. Public testing is announced as coming. There is no public place on Roblox yet, so “getting started” means understanding the design, joining the right communities, and preparing a first-build plan for when your wave opens. Official links live on the Links Hub, Discord (https://discord.gg/U8f3Tynr99), Carrd (https://rillcore.carrd.co/), and the Rillcore Studios group.

What kind of game this is

Blueprint sits closer to a creative building tool than to a job-and-roleplay economy sim. Riley has described it as a passion project shaped by years of Minecraft, Roblox, and The Sims — with an architecture-student eye for tools builders actually want. Roleplay can happen on public or friends plots, but the core loop is place, iterate, and share. Competitions and community showcases are part of the longer vision; they are not required to enjoy the sandbox.

Expect honest iteration. Blueprint is largely a solo developer effort. Features, UI, and limits can change between testing builds. Bookmark the Updates Hub and treat Discord announcements as the live source of truth.

Hub → plot in plain language

  1. Join the experience (when your tester access allows).
  2. From the hub, create a new plot: name, description, and tags (UI still evolving).
  3. Open My Plots to manage visibility: private, friends only, or public.
  4. Enter the plot. You land on a blank slate private server sized 1024×1024 studs.
  5. Build freely. Adjust build permissions separately from visibility so guests can view only, selected friends can edit, or everyone can collaborate.

Owners do not always need to be online for others to visit public plots — a key difference from many Roblox house games. Deep detail lives in the Plot System guide.

First-hour checklist (testers)

  • Confirm you followed How to Become a Tester and respect the 18+ NDA for private builds.
  • Create one small practice plot before a mega-city. A dorm, cabin, or plaza teaches tools faster than a 50-building district on day one — see Building Basics.
  • Decide permissions early: private for experiments, friends for co-op, public for showcases.
  • Sketch floor count. Blueprint supports up to 16 floors plus a basement; pools are swimable; roofs include styles such as hip, gable, and hollow. Details: Roofs, Floors & Pools.
  • Learn PC camera and placement habits in Controls. Mobile support is planned after PC features mature.

What you will not grind for

There is no cash, no paycheck jobs loop, and no gamepass unlock wall for core building. That means this wiki’s Codes page stays empty on purpose, and Scripts are not part of legitimate play. If you came from economy builders, re-read Blueprint vs Bloxburg so expectations match the sandbox.

Item limits are intentionally loose compared with games that cap wall decorations or roof pieces. Use that freedom carefully: huge plots can become unreadable without a grid plan, roads, or height rhythm. Landscaping tools (hills, rocks, and related props) exist to fight the “empty lot” feel of a blank slate — use them as structure, not clutter.

Multiplayer without chaos

Blueprint multiplayer is permission-based. Mix visibility and build rights:

  • Public + view only → gallery / roleplay visit without grief.
  • Friends + certain builders → trusted co-op.
  • Public + everyone → community mega-builds (high trust required).

Agree on layers (roads first, shells second, interiors last) before five people place walls at once. The Players hub will grow with collaborator tips; for now, set rules in Discord voice or plot description text.

After your first structure

  1. Save a clean exterior silhouette before detailing interiors.
  2. Add a basement or pool only when the footprint is stable (Roofs, Floors & Pools).
  3. Tag the plot clearly so community browsers understand the theme.
  4. Watch Updates for public testing waves and roadmap shifts.
  5. Share feedback through official suggestion channels — Riley reviews Discord suggestions regularly.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Waiting for a public place link that does not exist yet — use Discord access paths instead.
  • Starting a city without roads or height limits, then fighting navigation.
  • Leaving build permissions on “everyone” on a public plot during unfinished work.
  • Treating Blueprint like a pay-to-progress tycoon; there is nothing to buy for freedom.
  • Ignoring NDA rules and leaking private-test content.

Continue with Building Basics, Plot System, Controls, and Feature Roadmap. For status only, see Public Testing. Keep Official Links handy for Carrd and group joins.

You now know the product shape: free sandbox, huge blank plots, hub-driven private servers, and a testing-first rollout. Next step is either applying to test or drafting your first floor plan so you are ready the moment access lands.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is Blueprint free to play?

Yes. Blueprint is designed as a free sandbox with no money system and no gamepasses for building freedom.

How do I open the game on Roblox today?

There is no public place yet. Private testers access builds through the testing program; public testing waves are planned. Watch Discord and the Public Testing update page.

What is the plot size?

Each plot is 1024×1024 studs. You create it from the hub and build on a private plot server.

Does Blueprint have a shared town map?

No. Plots are blank slates. There is no pre-built town lot system like many roleplay house games.

Will Blueprint support mobile?

Mobile (and broader device support) is planned after PC has most features. Blueprint is PC-first during testing.

Where do I ask for features?

Use the suggestion forms linked from Carrd and the Discord suggestion channels Riley checks regularly.
